The new center will include <br />45,000 square feet of multi-purpose space, a 234- <br />seat theater, an exhibit space honoring veterans, a <br />kitchen and dining area, a gymnasium, space for <br />adaptive physical education classes, a walking <br />track, an outdoor garden, and administrative space <br />for City staff to manage public services. <br /> Construction is projected to be completed in <br />December 2023 (see design images on the left). <br />AGE-FRIENDLY REDWOOD CITY PAGE 11 <br />Redwood City has 30 public parks of various <br />sizes and two public pools. <br />In the most recent Parks and Recreation survey, <br />more than 80% of respondents rated parks, <br />programs, and facilities as “excellent” or <br />“good." <br />8.B. - Page 33 of 48 <br />90
