REV: 09-03-25 LF Project management of field support services performed by Haley & Aldrich Inc.. Review of contractor submittals for geotechnical-related items including but not limited to crushed rock and geotextile fabric materials. This agreement includes the review of four submittals by Haley & Aldrich Inc.. Review and respond to contractor requests for information (RFIs) as requested by the City’s project manager for geotechnical-specific items. This agreement includes the response to three RFIs from Haley & Aldrich Inc.. Review of subgrade conditions prior to the contractor’s placement of reinforcement and concrete (two half-day visits). Compaction testing is not included in the scope of work of this agreement, but it can be provided at an additional cost if the City requests it. Observations of subgrade conditions (two half-day visits), geotextile fabric placement (one half-day visit), and crushed rock placement (three half-day visits) to confirm conformance with the project plans and specifications. Preparation of daily field reports and a final construction observations letter. Deliverables: preparation of daily field observations report for submittal to the City within 24 hours of the site visit (PDF), and final observations letter with daily field reports appended (PDF). Civil, Structural, Landscape and Survey (Wood Rodgers, Inc.): Consultant will provide geotechnical field support services during construction, including the following: Provide clarifications during the bid phase, attend the pre-bid meeting, respond to questions from contractors, and issue addenda as directed by the City. Attend a pre-bid meeting and coordinate with the City to respond up to five (5) requests for information (RFIs) or clarification during bidding. Attend the pre-construction meeting and will conduct three (3) site visits for the purpose of structural observation as requested at defined construction milestones. Consultant to prepare reports for each structural observation and submit them to the City within 24-hours of the observation. Consultant will review and provide written responses to the City for: up to twenty two (22) shop drawing submittals, deferred submittals with supporting calculations, and up to fourteen (14) contractor requests for information (RFIs). Consultant will review and comment on contractor initiated change orders if requested by the City. Consultant will prepare as-built drawings based on contractor mark-ups, RFIs, and change orders. Field survey will be provided to support as-built drawings, if needed. Deliverables: one electronic copy (PDF and AutoCAD) of final full size record drawing plans (as-builts), final closeout letter signed by the structural engineer of record (PDF), and final letter from geotechnical engineer of record (PDF).
