REV: 09-23-25 LF <br />measurements obtained in the field. Laboratory testing shall be included in the cost <br />of the soil borings. <br />G. Perform a laboratory material acceptance standard test, which includes a <br />gradation test, compaction curve, R-value, sand equivalent test, and durability <br />index test. <br />H. Perform field observations/field density compaction testing services (nuclear <br />gauge) and material testing services as requested, and on an intermittent basis in <br />compliance with the project plans and specifications. <br />I. Document test data and observations through daily and end-of-job summary <br />reports. Daily reports shall be submitted to the City on a daily basis. Daily reports <br />must describe the activities performed at the time of field services, and the <br />locations and results of the nuclear field density tests and other material testing <br />performed. All reported writing and office supervision expenses will be included in <br />the hourly rate. <br />J. Perform other as needed special inspection and material testing services such as <br />asphalt concrete pavement inspections, steel and Portland cement concrete <br />inspections, welding inspection, pile driving inspection and material testing <br />services. <br />K. Perform coating inspection services including but not limited to: providing a <br />National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) certified coating inspector to <br />monitor coating operations including surface preparation, lining application and all <br />required testing as per NACE, American Water Work Association (AWWA), and <br />the Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC) guidelines and standards; performing <br />field observations for monitoring coating application conditions and coating <br />process; and inspecting all materials, tools, and equipment to be used in the <br />blasting and coating operations. <br />L. Perform sampling of cast concrete cylindrical specimens and test for concrete <br />compressive strength, and shotcrete production core sampling and testing per <br />ASTM Standards. <br />M. Providing welding inspections by a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), non- <br />destructive testing (NOT), ultrasound testing and magnetic particle testing (UT- <br />MT) by an inspector certified by the American Welding Society (AWS). <br />N. Perform Structural Steel Bolting per American Institute of Steel Construction <br />(AISC) Standards. <br />O. Document test data and observation through daily and end-of-job summary <br />reports. Daily reports shall be submitted to the City on a daily basis.
