ATTY/RESO.0103/ CC RESO TEMPORARY PARKING TIME LIMIT FOR LIBRARY LOTS A, B, AND C (ZOPPE CIRCUS) <br />REV: 10-17-25 MI <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY ESTABLISHING A TEMPORARY ONE-HOUR TIME LIMIT ON THE <br />USE OF PARKING SPACES IN LIBRARY LOTS A, B AND C <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 20, Article VII, Division 6 of the Redwood City Code regulates <br />off-street public parking; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has been presenting the Zoppe Circus (“the Circus”) since <br />2008 and plans to present the Circus again during October and November of 2025; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Circus will be held in a portion of Library Lot B and the Circus will <br />be occupying a portion of Library Lot C to store equipment and stage the production, thus <br />impacting available parking resources for Library customers; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, imposing a temporary one-hour time limit on the use of parking spots <br />in Library Lots A, B and C between October 28, 2025 and December 4, 2025 will serve <br />the public interest by ensuring Library customers have greater access to parking spots <br />that aren’t occupied by the City’s Circus activities. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the foregoing recitals are <br />true and correct. <br /> <br />2. The City Council hereby imposes a temporary one-hour parking limit in <br />Library Parking Lots A, B and C beginning on October 28, 2025 and ending on <br />December 4, 2025. <br /> <br />3. This resolution is repealed effective December 5, 2025, at which time there <br />will no longer be a one-hour time limit on the use of parking spots in Library Lots A, B and <br />C. <br />4.
