Redwood City Stormwater Roadmap <br />Appendix A: Data Review <br />September 2025 A-1 Schaaf & Wheeler <br />Appendix A: Data Review <br />Schaaf & Wheeler reviewed stormwater-related data provided by the City of Redwood City <br />(City), supplemented with selected publicly available sources. The goal of this review was to <br />summarize existing documentation that may inform future stormwater studies, support asset <br />management, and guide the development of the recommended assessments outlined in this <br />report. <br />This data review is primarily based on City-provided information, including GIS datasets, <br />infrastructure inventories, past technical studies, and internal reports. Additional documents <br />from regional and federal sources were also reviewed where applicable. A full table of City <br />provided data for this analysis is included at the end of this section. However, this is not <br />intended to be an exhaustive review of all available documentation. Instead, it highlights some <br />data sources that may be useful in future analysis. The analysis focuses on key data within City <br />limits and touches on assets that are privately owned or managed by external jurisdictions that <br />may influence Redwood City (e.g., Emerald Lake Dam). <br />The following sections summarize existing data, documented observations, and known gaps <br />across the following categories: <br /> Topography <br /> Stormwater system infrastructure <br /> Flood control facilities <br /> Green infrastructure <br /> Levees and shoreline protection <br /> Sea level rise and climate risk data <br />This appendix also identifies areas where additional data collection or system evaluation may <br />be warranted to support near- and long-term stormwater planning. <br /> <br />11.A. - Page 40 of 53 <br />471
