Redwood City Stormwater Roadmap <br />Next Steps <br />September 2025 8-3 Schaaf & Wheeler <br />station rehabilitations, channel improvements, and levee upgrades, much of the broader system <br />remains in need of comprehensive evaluation. <br />The Stormwater Roadmap identifies the most pressing issues, ranging from infrastructure <br />condition and hydraulic capacity to climate resiliency and regulatory compliance, and presents a <br />set of actionable next steps. The Stormwater Master Plan outlined in this report will help the City <br />identify high-risk assets, prioritize investments, and ensure long-term system performance. Cost <br />estimates provided in the “Recommended Assessments” provide the City with the option to fund <br />each component individually if funding does not allow for a comprehensive assessment. <br />However, by completing the Stormwater Master Plan and implementing a Stormwater Program, <br />the City can transition from reactive to proactive infrastructure management. <br />This document is informed by a comprehensive review of existing reports, GIS data, and field <br />observations, as summarized in Appendix A. These existing materials form a valuable <br />foundation for future work, helping the City target areas where additional study is needed while <br />avoiding redundancy with prior efforts. <br />By completing the proposed assessments, implementing the identified improvements, and <br />pursuing long-term funding strategies, Redwood City will be better prepared to reduce flood risk, <br />protect its communities, and comply with future regulatory and climate adaptation requirements. <br />11.A. - Page 39 of 53 <br />470
