These include as-built drawings for Redwood Shores Levee <br />Improvements (Segment 2, 1999), construction drawings for Redwood Shores Levee System <br />maintenance (1974), and Bayfront tidegate drawings (1952). Recent records also include <br />Redwood Shores Levee Improvement Project (2009), Redwood Shores Exterior Levee <br />Segment III maintenance plans (2010), Blu Harbor off-site improvements (2015), Pete's Harbor <br />Stockpile improvements (2019), and the Seaport Centre Levee improvements (2010). <br />A.3.2.2 Geotechnical Reports <br />The City maintains several geotechnical reports that support the design, evaluation, and <br />maintenance of levee systems, particularly in the Redwood Shores area. These documents <br />include subsurface investigations, soil classifications, and structural assessments critical to <br />understanding levee performance and informing future flood risk mitigation. <br />A few include: <br /> Preliminary Geotechnical Evaluation (ENGEO, 2009) <br /> Supplemental Exploration Redwood Shores Levee Evaluation (ENGEO, 2009) <br /> Geotechnical Exploration, Levee Construction North of Radio Road (Romig Engineering <br />Services, 2010) <br />These reports provide the technical basis for past and future levee improvement projects and <br />support compliance with FEMA levee certification and sea level rise adaptation planning. <br />A.3.2.3 Operation and Maintenance Manuals <br />The City provided the Levee Operations and Maintenance Manual (Redwood City, 2008), which <br />outlines requirements for ongoing maintenance of the Redwood Shores levee system to ensure <br />continued flood protection and compliance with FEMA certification standards. The manual <br />includes inspection protocols addressing structural integrity, erosion, vegetation management, <br />and slope stability. It also provides preventive and corrective maintenance guidance for levee <br />segments, floodgates, pump stations, and related infrastructure elements. <br />A.3.2.4 Existing Studies and Reports <br />The City maintains a collection of technical studies addressing flood risk, drainage capacity, and <br />maintenance needs within the Redwood Shores levee and lagoon systems.
