ATTY/RESO.0107/CC RESO AMENDING THE CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY AND WAGE PLAN (FIREFIGHTER AND PARAMEDIC) <br />REV: 10-31-25 MI <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 16364 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY AMENDING THE CITY’S CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY AND <br />WAGE PLAN ESTABLISHING THE NEW CLASSIFICATION OF <br />FIREFIGHTER/ENGINEER PARAMEDIC AND SALARY RANGE <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager has requested that the classification of <br />Firefighter/Engineer Paramedic be established to meet the current and future operational <br />needs for the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the classification specifications as described in Exhibit A-1 were <br />prepared by Human Resources staff in consultation with department management, to <br />ensure the foreseeable needs of the organization were met. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />1.The recitals set forth above are true and correct and are hereby <br />incorporated by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br />2.The City’s Classification and Salary and Wage Plan is hereby amended to <br />add the new classification of Firefighter/Engineer Paramedic as listed in Exhibits A-1 and <br />A-2, and in the full salary plan attached as Exhibit B. <br />3.This resolution shall be effective upon the date of its adoption. <br />** *
