As part of this recruitment, the City surveyed community <br />members and employees to understand desired qualities and characteristics for a new City Manager, and <br />to receive input on priorities for the City Manager. This data was incorporated into recruitment materials, <br />the ideal candidate profile, and interview questions to help ensure the selection process reflected the <br />City’s vision and current priorities. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The salary and benefit costs for the position of City Manager are included within the approved fiscal year <br />2025-2026 budget. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />This activity is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as defined in CEQA <br />Guidelines, section 15378, because it has no potential for resulting in either a direct or reasonably <br />foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment. <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Public notification was achieved by posting the agenda, with the agenda items being listed, at least 72 <br />hours prior to the meeting. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />1. Direct the Ad Hoc Committee to renegotiate the terms and conditions of the employment agreement <br />with Patrick Heisinger. <br />2.
