City of Redwood City 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA. 94063 Tel: 650-780-7000 www.redwoodcity.org
STAFF REPORT
To the Honorable Mayor and City Council
From the City Manager
DATE: November 24, 2025
SUBJECT
Amendment No. 3 to Agreement for Services with One Workplace for the storage and delivery of furniture
for the Veterans Memorial Building/Senior Center
SUMMARY
The Veterans Memorial Building/Senior Center construction has experienced schedule delays, requiring
the City to store the new interior furniture purchased from One Workplace until the building is ready for
occupancy. The City previously entered into agreements with One Workplace to store the furniture, and
with construction nearing completion, the final amendment is needed to continue storage through
October 2025 and to cover delivery costs to the facility. Amendment No. 3 increases the contract by
$20,660, resulting in a total not-to-exceed amount of $155,298.40. Approval will ensure the furniture
remains secure and ready for installation upon project completion, supporting the City’s commitment to
providing a high-quality community facility that serves seniors and veterans.
RECOMMENDATION
By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 3 to the Agreement for
Services with One Workplace for storage and delivery of furniture for the Veterans Memorial
Building/Senior Center, increasing the not-to-exceed amount by $20,660 from the General Fund, resulting
in a total contract amount not to exceed $155,299.
STRATEGIC PLAN GUIDING PRINCIPLE
Healthy Community for All
7.B. - Page 1 of 12
90
