The entrance casing with grooved lines, bases, and squared upper corners
12. The red brick porch deck
13. Wooden porch and balcony posts with chamfered corners
14. The wooden second story balcony deck, and
15. The City Council, having independently heard, considered, and
weighed all the evidence in the record, finds that the above recitals are accurate and
constitute findings in this matter, and together with the staff report and all application
materials, including without limitation the development plans, and all other documents,
reports, studies, memoranda, maps, oral and written testimony, and materials in the City’s
file for the application, and all adopted City documents relating to the Project and the
Property including the City’s General Plan, Municipal Code, other applicable City laws
and regulations, and all associated approved and certified environmental documents,
have together served as an adequate and appropriate evidentiary basis for the findings
and actions set forth in this resolution.

Section 2. The Historic Preservation
Agreement (Mills Act Contract) will ensure the maintenance, restoration, enhancement,
and protection of the environment (which includes historical resources), and because the
future maintenance and preservation work carried out is required to be consistent with
the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties.

Section 3. The City Council hereby designates the residence and property located
at 731 Edgewood Road, Redwood City, California a Historic Landmark and approves the
Mills Act Contract for the subject property and authorizes the City Manager or designee
to execute the Mills Act Contract.
