This Amendment No. 1 would add an additional not-to-exceed amount of <br />$72,000 to the existing contract to complete the tree inventory. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager or designee to execute Amendment No. 1 to the <br />Agreement for Services with Davey Resource Group, Inc. to complete a tree inventory, covering the time <br />period of December 2025 to June 2026 for a not-to-exceed amount of $72,000 for a total contract-not-to- <br />exceed amount of $353,050. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN GUIDING PRINCIPLE <br />Excellence in Government Operations <br />BACKGROUND <br />The Public Works Services Department (“PWS”) maintains trees in City parks and the public right-of-way, <br />which, for this purpose, refers to the area between the sidewalk and curb in residential areas. To manage <br />the City’s trees, the City needs a clear understanding of the trees it currently owns, which can be achieved <br />with a tree inventory.
