Thirty (30) Percent Design for Grant Submission, up to $279,410 Time and <br />Materials (T&M) <br />This Task will develop the 30% design drawings for the preferred alternative selected <br />as part of Task 9 to establish primary drawings and all major Project components. <br />This task includes: <br />a. Task 11.1 Preferred Alternative Design <br />a. The consultant will develop 30% design drawings for preferred <br />alternative to establish primary drawings and all major Project <br />components and will remain consistent with the conceptual design, with <br />additional details and refinements based on the Project Base Map and <br />utility review. <br />b. The 30% design drawings will include topographic base map, the <br />preliminary utilities, a plan view of the entire project improvements, <br />typical cross sections of improvements, and preliminary bridge <br />improvements plan and elevation drawings, as needed. Structural <br />design and/or calculations are excluded. <br />c. The Consultant and team will prepare up to thirty (30) drawing sheets at <br />1”=40’ scale. <br />d. The plans will be prepared using publicly available high-resolution <br />LiDAR and aerial images, utilities and other data collected as part of <br />Task 3. <br />e. The Consultant will use boundary survey completed as part of Task 3.b <br />to show right-of-way lines and existing easements for improvements in <br />streets, parks, and parcels. For locations where boundary survey is not <br />completed, the Consultant will use county right-of-way mapping. If <br />needed, Consultant will also show plan and profile of pump station <br />improvements. However, the scope does not include electrical and <br />structural drawings. If needed, the City’s project manager can request a <br />cost estimate for these services. <br />f. The 30% design update will include: <br />g. Cover/Title sheet <br />h.
