Page 1 of 5 <br />City of Redwood City 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA. 94063 Tel: 650-780-7000 www.redwoodcity.org <br />STAFF REPORT <br />To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From the City Manager <br />DATE: December 22, 2025 <br />SUBJECT <br />Agreement for Services with BKF Engineers in the amount of $561,525 for design of the Redwood City <br />Corporation Yard Reconfiguration Project using transportation grant funds <br />SUMMARY <br />The State Route 84 (Woodside Road) / U.S. 101 Interchange Reimagined Project (“84/101 Reimagined”) <br />requires relocation and reconfiguration of several facilities within the current corporation yard. <br />The goal of the Redwood City Corporation Yard Reconfiguration Project (“Project”) is to maximize use of <br />the remaining space within the corporation yard. Current infrastructure will be reconfigured and the City <br />will consider modifying existing uses in order to accommodate the reduced area. The scope of the current <br />agreement is for design only; a contract to reconfigure the corporation yard will follow as a separate <br />action. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />1. By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the standard Agreement for Services <br />with BKF Engineers for design of the Redwood City Corporation Yard Reconfiguration Project in the <br />amount of $561,525; and <br />2.
