The Project agreement amount, <br />including contingency, is reimbursable from the California State Transportation Improvement Program <br />(STIP) Grant, as shown in Table 2. This is an agreement for services for design and <br />therefore is not a project subject to CEQA because the agreement will not cause either a direct physical <br />change in the environment or a reasonably foreseeable indirect change in the environment. <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Public notification was achieved by posting the agenda, with the agenda items being listed, at least 72 <br />hours prior to the meeting. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />The City Council may choose not to approve the recommended action.
