A mandatory site visit was held on <br />September 11. Proposals were due on October 3. A total of three proposals were received and evaluated <br />by staff based on the following criteria, as outlined in the RFP: <br />Thoroughness and understanding of the tasks to be completed <br />Project management plan and schedule <br />Innovative approach and proposed scope of services <br />Experience in performing the desired services as described in the Scope of Services <br />Staff expertise and overall experience of personnel assigned to the work <br />Availability and staffing to complete the work within the specified timeline <br />Responsiveness to requirements of the proposed services <br />Review of references <br />The review and evaluation results are summarized in Table 1, below. <br /> <br />Table 1: Consultant Rankings <br />Consultant Ranking <br /> BKF Engineers 1 <br /> The KPA Group 2 <br /> Hewitt Consulting Group 3 <br /> <br />The proposals were evaluated by key Project stakeholders, including the 84/101 Reimagined team and <br />the City’s Public Works Services Department. Based on the evaluations, staff recommends award of <br />agreement for the Project design to BKF Engineers (“BKF”). BKF demonstrated a clear understanding of <br />the scope, employs sufficient staffing to adequately resource the Project, has extensive experience with <br />similar projects, and outlined an approach that maximizes benefits to the Project. <br />EQUITY IMPACT STATEMENT <br />All City actions are assessed for impact.
