The project geotechnical engineer shall provide continuous site inspections during <br />excavation, shoring, dewatering, trenching, and backfill operations at the Applicant’s expense. [COA] <br />E44 Other Agency Permits – Union Pacific Rail Road. Obtain all required permits and approvals from the Union Pacific <br />Rail Road . [Section 9.11 of Municipal Code][SDR] <br />Prior to Building or <br />Grading Permit <br />Issuance <br /> <br /># FIRE Conditions Compliance <br />F1 Building Code Summary Analysis. Provide a building code summary analysis that includes the use and occupancy <br />classification(s), type(s) of construction, occupancy separations or non-separated occupancy, number of stories, <br />exterior opening analysis, maximum height above grade plane, floor area per floor, total floor area, and presence of <br />and design standard for automatic sprinklers. [CFC 104.9][SDR] <br />Prior to Building <br />Permit Issuance <br />F2 Construction Egress and Standpipes. During construction, provide a temporary or permanent stairway. As <br />construction progresses, the stairway shall be extended to within one floor of the highest point of construction having <br />secured decking or flooring. Not less than one Class I standpipe shall be provided for use during construction. Such <br />standpipes shall be installed prior to construction exceeding 40 feet in height above the lowest level of fire <br />department vehicle access. The standpipe(s) shall be provided with Fire Department hose connections at locations <br />adjacent to the stairways and shall Íbe extended to within one floor of the highest point of construction having <br />secured decking or flooring. [CFC §§3311.1 and 3313.1][SDR] <br />Prior to Building <br />Permit Issuance & <br />During Construction <br />F3 Site Safety Plans. Construction site safety plans for the construction process are to be approved by the Fire Marshal <br />or his/her designee before Building Permit issuance. They must follow all requirements in Chapter 33 of the California <br />Fire Code. <br />Prior to Building <br />Permit Issuance & <br />During Construction <br />F4 Fire Apparatus Access Roads. An approved fire apparatus access road must be provided [CFC §503.1.1] The approved <br />AMMR shall be placed on the building permit application plans. <br />Prior to Building <br />Permit Issuance <br />F5 Alternate Methods and Materials Request. Attach the approved Alternate Methods and Materials Request (AMMR) <br />to the building permit application plan set. [COA] <br />Prior to Building <br />Permit Issuance <br />F6 Aerial Fire Apparatus Access. Buildings greater than 30 feet in height require aerial (ladder truck) fire apparatus <br />access, positioned parallel to the long side of the building. No overhead utility or power lines, horizontal or vertical <br />fixed obstructions are to be located along the aerial fire apparatus access road, nor can they be located between the <br />aerial fire apparatus access road and the building that may obstruct aerial fire apparatus operations.
