REV: 12-11-25 LR EXHIBIT “A” SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE Consultant shall provide construction inspection and special inspection services during the construction of the Hoover Park Renovation Project. Consultant shall assign a Construction Inspector (Construction Inspector) to work with the City Engineer, Project Manager, and Project Engineer(s), to perform inspection services for the Hoover Park Renovation Project. The Construction Inspector, working with and at the direction of the City Engineer, Project Manager, and Project Engineer(s) shall: receive direction and daily oversight from the Project Manager and Project Engineer(s); manage time effectively between field work and office work; correspond with the Hoover Park Renovation Project’s contractor and subcontractors; correspond with Engineering & Transportation, as well as other City departments as it relates to the Hoover Park Renovation Project, including but not limited to the Parks, Recreation & Community Services Department and the Public Works Department; perform construction inspection duties for compliance with the Hoover Park Renovation Project’s project plans, project specifications, City’s Engineering Standards, and all other applicable standards/regulations; prepare daily reports for inspections performed, which shall include but is not limited to daily photos documenting work performed by the Hoover Park Renovation Project contractors and subcontractors; and travel between the project site and office. Special inspection services shall be provided on an as needed basis, as determined by the City Engineer or designee, to satisfy the need of the Hoover Park Renovation Project. Full list of special inspection/testing services provided by Consultant is included at the end of Exhibit A. City Engineer or designee will coordinate with consultant on which special inspection/testing service is needed to meet the needs of the Hoover Park Renovation Project. Prevailing wage requirements are in effect for this project. Task 1 – Construction Inspection The performance of all services by the Construction Inspector shall be to the satisfaction of the City Engineer or designee. Construction Inspector shall ensure all work performed complies with the project specifications, City Engineering Standards, and all applicable standards/regulations, and that the work is completed in a timely fashion and within budget. The construction inspector is expected to be full time on the project. Construction Inspector shall complete all required labor interviews, materials, and equipment documentation. Construction Inspector shall perform construction coordination with the contractor, Project Engineer, and/or Project Manager. Construction Inspector shall be available to attend all project meetings, both internal and external. Construction Inspector shall coordinate with the Project Engineer and/or Project Manager. Construction Inspector shall conduct daily inspections as necessary to complete ATTY/AGR.2025.323/Signet Testing Laboratories, Inc.
