REV: 12-11-25 LR <br />all services to the satisfaction of the City Engineer or designee. <br />Construction Inspector shall coordinate all necessary materials testing with <br />contractor <br />Construction Inspector shall communicate frequently with the Project Engineer <br />and/or the Project Manager regarding needs for inspection services and Hoover <br />Park Renovation Project’s activities <br />Deliverables: Construction inspector shall, daily, write construction inspection <br />reports documenting the weather and any unusual circumstances, describing the <br />type of work performed, locations of work, inspection results, number of employees <br />and types of equipment present, and other information as directed by the City <br />Engineer or designee, such reports being either in software (PDF, Microsoft Word <br />Doc or other) or on paper as needed. Paper reports will be uploaded in software <br />(CommDev or other) by City staff. The report shall be accompanied by photos <br />documenting work performed. <br />Task 2 – Special Inspections (As needed) <br />As needed special inspections and material testing services, as determined by the <br />City Engineer or designee, including but not limited to: <br />o Review concrete mix designs for compliance with the project documents. <br />o Testing concrete through compressive strength tests, ASTM C39/C39M. <br />o Testing concrete through slump tests, ASTM C143/C143M. <br />o Inspecting the sub-base, formwork, and reinforcement before placement of <br />concrete. <br />o Observing concrete placement, including measuring slump, temperature, <br />and batch times. <br />o Inspection during the installation of post-installed anchors, anchor bolts and <br />anchor rods. <br />o Load testing including pull and torque testing of post installed anchors, <br />anchor bolts and anchor rods. <br />o Welding procedure and welder’s qualification review prior to performing <br />welding in the shop. <br />o Material identification, mill certificate verification and structural steel welding <br />inspection in the shop for structural steel. <br />o Structural steel welding inspection in the field. <br />o Non shrink grout placement inspection sampling and testing. <br />o Compression testing of non-shrink grout in the laboratory. <br />o Document test data and observations through daily and end-of-job <br />summary reports. Testing reports shall be submitted to the City on a daily <br />basis.
