All report writing and office supervision expenses will <br />also be included in the hourly rate. <br />o Deliverables: Special inspection and testing reports. <br />Task 3 – Geotechnical Inspections (As needed) <br />As needed geotechnical inspections and material testing services, as determined <br />by the City Engineer or designee, including but not limited to: <br />o Laboratory material acceptance standard tests, such as gradation test, <br />compaction curve, R-Value test, sand equivalent test, and durability index <br />test <br />o Field observation/field density compaction testing services (nuclear gauge) <br />and material testing services as requested, and on an intermittent basis in <br />compliance with the project plans and specifications. Aggregate compaction <br />testing shall conform to ASTM D 1557 and asphalt compaction testing shall <br />conform to CA Test 304/375. <br />o Deliverables: Geotechnical inspection and testing reports. The reports shall <br />include the activities performed at the time of field services, location and <br />results of the tests. <br />Task 4 – Additional Work (As needed) <br />Consultant shall provide additional services, as needed, for an amount not to <br />exceed 10% of the agreement budget, upon prior written approval of the City <br />Engineer or designee. <br />Key Personnel: <br />The individual person assigned as the Construction Inspector for the Hoover Park <br />Renovation Project shall remain the same for the duration of this Agreement, as approved <br />by the City Engineer or designee. <br />Should the City-approved Construction Inspector have a planned absence such that they <br />will not be available to provide inspection services on any particular day or time, two (2) <br />business days advance notice shall be provided to the City along with alternative means <br />of providing inspection services until City-approved Construction Inspector becomes <br />available. Generally, the individual person designated as Construction Inspector and <br />approved by City shall not change unless City has approved of such change in writing in <br />advance to the change being made, except in unforeseen circumstances such as illness, <br />in which Consultant shall notify City Engineer or designee as soon as practical. <br />ATTY/AGR.2025.323/Signet Testing Laboratories, Inc.
