No changes to the existing tax structure are <br />proposed. (305) <br /> <br />Finance Director Beth Goldberg gave a presentation. <br /> <br />There was no public comment. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Waive first reading and introduce an ordinance amending Redwood City <br />Municipal Code Chapter 32, Article IV, Section 32.87 (Records to be Kept for a <br />Period of Three Years) of the Redwood City Municipal Code to address issuance <br />of administrative subpoenas for Uniform Transient Occupancy Tax. <br /> <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br /> <br />Motion and second, Sturken and Chu, to waive first reading and introduce an <br />ordinance amending Redwood City Municipal Code Chapter 32, Article IV, <br />Section 32.87 (Records to be Kept for a Period of Three Years) of the Redwood <br />City Municipal Code to address issuance of administrative subpoenas for <br />Uniform Transient Occupancy Tax, passed unanimously by roll call vote. <br /> <br /> 10.B. City Council appointment to the San Mateo County Mosquito and Vector <br />Control District Board of Trustees (209) <br /> <br />City Clerk Yessika Castro gave a brief overview of the item. <br /> <br />There was no public comment. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />1. By roll call vote, appoint one applicant to represent Redwood City on the San <br />Mateo County Mosquito and Vector Control District Board of Trustees; and <br />2. By motion, indicate whether the term will be for 2 years or 4 years, expiring <br />December 31, 2027 or December 31, 2029 respectively. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br /> <br />By roll call vote, Kathryn Lion was appointed to the San Mateo County <br />Mosquito and Vector Control District Board of Trustees. <br /> <br />Motion and second, Gee and Howard, to appoint Kathryn Lion to a four-year <br />term on the San Mateo County Mosquito and Vector Control District Board of <br />7.C. - Page 9 of 11 <br />192
