d. Unless responding to an emergency or otherwise engaged in an activity at the City or Sequoia High School, the SLO will mentor students, support school discipline and attendance policies, assist with and conduct limited investigations, provide security at school events during regularly scheduled hours, will maintain a visible campus presence as staffing allows, will participate in educational activities, will participate in community engagement during regularly scheduled hours, and provide other support to Sequoia High School as determined collaboratively between representatives of the Parties. e. City will attend partnership meetings and participate in information sharing, problem solving, evaluation and data collection processes as agreed between representatives of the Parties. f. Provide all necessary equipment, including a marked police vehicle, for an officer to perform the stated obligations. 3. Obligations of SUHSD. SUHSD hereby agrees to: a. Share annual costs associated with the SLO program with the City, payable upon invoice. b. Provide suitable office space, school equipment such as a computer and radio, and support resources for the SLO at the campus. C. Coordinate and facilitate regular partnership meetings with the City, as necessary to ensure a successful SLO program. d. Act as co -fiscal agents responsible for overseeing payments and maintaining contract records. e. Identify and communicate training opportunities to the City. f. SUHSD will oversee and support evaluation and data collection as agreed to on a case-by-case basis. 4. Compensation. The total annual cost for the SLO position, including salary, benefits, and associated expenses, shall be divided between the Parties. The City shall invoice SUHSD and by May 31, 2026, with payment due by June 30, 2026. The total annual cost for the term of this contract, excluding overtime, shall be $250,000, with SUHSD's share for the term of the contract representing one-third of that total annual cost at $83,333.33.
