REV: 01-05-26 LR Payment o The Flowbird POF Kiosks installed in the City will include a 2D QR Code Scanner, which is used for scanning of validations either from printout or on-mobile screens sent via email (i.e. phone). o Kiosks that handle Cash are Exact Change Only and do not offer bill recycling or change. Cash and Coin acceptance is integrated into the existing MSM cabinet and is not a sidecar. CWT is equipped with a secured vault. The currency vault is in a separate cabinet from the maintenance cabinet, is protected by heavy gauge stainless steel, and requires a separate key for access. o Flowbird can program meters to allow patrons to pay for parking at any pay station. o The CWT pay station allows for the extension of time, either at the pay station or via an Extend by Text system. Time extension will follow City parking guidelines. o If the user inputs their phone number into the pay station at the end of their transaction, they can receive an expiration notification and extend their time by text up to the max time limit. o Flowbird can support Hold and Send transactions but only in non-EMV mode. EMV guidelines do not allow for Hold and Send transactions. o All credit card transactions made at the CWT are performed in real-time. Flowbird offers payment gateway services for card present transactions (chip & pin, magnetic stripe) only. The information flow is organized as follows: The payment card is introduced into the card reader. The card reader reads the magnetic stripe or starts communicating with the chip of the card depending on the readers and scheme configuration. The card reader module is connected to the Internet via a 4G network. The card reader opens a connection with the payment server (Tender Retail) over one defined UDP port.
