Exception vehicles do not count against the accuracy of the LPR system. <br />For the purposes of the LPR performance requirements an exception <br />vehicle is defined as: <br />a. Any vehicle whose license plate is obstructed, obscured, or <br />encroached upon by a foreign object. <br />b. Vehicles that contain excessive graphics and advertising such that it <br />is impossible for the LPR system to determine which graphics belong <br />to the license plate and which graphics do not. <br />c. Vehicles with no license plate. <br />d. Vehicles with temporary cardboard (non-reflective) “Dealer Plates.” <br />e. Motorcycles. <br />6. Provide a means, subject to approval by the City, to remotely score the LPR <br />system to ensure it meets the performance requirements. Provide all <br />software needed to test the LPR system’s performance, downloadable to a <br />standalone PC used for testing. <br />B. Fully operational regardless of extreme weather such as heat, sun, rain, ice, <br />snow, freezing rain, etc. <br />C. Operating temperature range of -30 to +55 Celsius and to 95% RH. <br />1.5 PRICE REQUIREMENTS: <br />A. Price includes the provision of all material, labor, equipment, and services <br />necessary to furnish and install fully integrated mobile LPR system as outlined <br />herein. Installation is to occur on Owner-provided parking enforcement vehicles. <br />B. Extended Hardware Maintenance and Software Support: Provide pricing for <br />Maintenance, Service, and Parts Contract after two-year initial warranty: <br />1. A separate contract awarded for Maintenance, Service and parts that would <br />commence with expiration of two-year warranty period. <br />2. Provide annual pricing for five (5) years after initial two-year warranty <br />period. <br />C. Substantial Completion: A certificate of substantial completion will be provided <br />when the following requirements have been satisfied: <br />1. All systems, features and communications, have passed the SAT per <br />Section 3.2 of this document. <br />2.
