Page 1 of 4 <br />City of Redwood City 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA. 94063 Tel: 650-780-7000 www.redwoodcity.org <br />STAFF REPORT <br />To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From the City Manager <br />DATE: January 26, 2026 <br />SUBJECT <br />Agreement for Services with Ingram Library Services LLC for library materials, processing and cataloging <br />services <br />SUMMARY <br />The Redwood City Public Library seeks a wholesale distributor of library materials, processing and <br />cataloging services. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a three-year Agreement for Services with <br />Ingram Library Services LLC for library materials, processing and cataloging services for a not-to-exceed <br />amount of $500,000 per year for a total contract amount of $1,500,000 from December 2025 to December <br />2028, and authorize the City Manager to extend the agreement for two additional two-year terms for a <br />total amount not to exceed $2,000,000 through December 2032, for a total contract amount not to exceed <br />$3,500,000. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN GUIDING PRINCIPLE <br />Excellence in Government Operations <br />BACKGROUND <br />The Redwood City Public Library (Library) purchases the majority of library materials from wholesale <br />distributors who maintain large inventories of titles from many publishers and producers.
