SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />The City of Redwood City requests that ISD expand the existing coverage area of the SMC Public <br />Wi-Fi network to include the Jardin de Ninos Park in Redwood City, California, thereby providing <br />public internet access to residents and visitors of the Jardin de Ninos Park. <br />Any additional services must be requested in writing by Redwood City. It is agreed that in such <br />an event, ISD reserves the right to approve or deny the request for additional services. If the <br />request for the additional services is approved, ISD will provide a written quote and invoice for <br />any one-time and ongoing charges for the expansion of services. Redwood City must provide a <br />written notice to proceed and invoice payment prior to the expansion of services. <br />Redwood City acknowledges and agrees that ISD's ability to perform the services outlined in this <br />MOU is subject to the availability of appropriations by the Board of Supervisors to operate the <br />SMC Public Wi-Fi network each year. A lack of funding to operate the SMC Public Wi-Fi network <br />will result in termination of this MOU. <br />1. ISD Responsibilities <br />a. ISD and/or its Contractor(s) will maintain and support the technology associated <br />with SMC Public Wi-Fi to provide Wireless Internet only connectivity at Jardin de <br />Ninos Park in Redwood City. <br />b. ISD and/or its Contractor(s) will coordinate break fix and system enhancement <br />requests. <br />c. ISD and/or its Contractor(s) will provide technical support through the ISD Service <br />Desk (650-363-4108). <br />2. Redwood City Responsibilities <br />a. Redwood City will be responsible for the timely payment. ISD will bill annually for <br />all active equipment until such equipment is requested to be removed by <br />Redwood City. <br />b. Redwood City will report all incidents of equipment damage to ISD by contacting <br />the ISD Service Desk (650-363-4108). <br />GENERAL PROVISIONS <br />1. Amendments <br />This MOU maybe modified or amended only through a written document executed by all <br />Parties. The MOU is renewable upon request by ISD or Redwood City. <br />
