REV: 12-03-25 LR -Construction Meetings – Consultant shall attend construction meetings throughout the Construction process via video or teleconference. -Requests for Information (RFIs) – Consultant shall respond to reasonable and appropriate Contractor requests for information made in accordance with the Contract Documents and issue necessary clarifications and interpretations. Any orders authorizing variations from the Contract Documents shall be only by Client. -Shop Drawings and Material Submittals – Consultant shall review submitted shop drawings and materials data for general conformance with the Contract Documents. Consultant shall assist the City Engineer or their designee to evaluate and determine the acceptability of substitute or “equivalent” materials proposed by the Contractor. Consultant shall have no responsibility for any contractor’s means, methods, techniques, equipment choice and usage, sequence, schedule, safety programs, or safety practices, nor shall Consultant have any authority or responsibility to stop, supervise, control, or direct the work of any contractor. Task 12 – Record Drawings Upon completion of construction, Consultant shall prepare a record drawing(s) showing changes reported during construction. -The conformed record drawings shall be based on the Contractor or City Resident Engineer’s mark-ups of the project drawings. -The record drawings incorporate the as-built information and shall be dated and signed by the Engineer(s) of Record (EOR) prior to being submitted to the City Engineer. A total of up to 40 hours is budgeted for this purpose. Deliverable: Record Drawings (PDF) At the completion of this Scope of Services, Consultant shall provide the following to the City staff: 1.
