REV: 12-03-25 LR
requested. Utility Design will be limited to Storm Drain infrastructure as needed for drainage.
Traffic Signal design and street lighting is not anticipated as part of this scope of work.
Stormwater treatment is not included in the scope of work. If in future, during the design phase
there is a need to include these elements in the scope, it will be handled as contract amendment
within the 10% contract contingency (which City Manager can approve).
Task 9 – Develop Final Plans, Specifications and Estimate
Based upon one (1) set of consolidated, non-conflicting comments from the City Engineer or their
designee on the 95% PS&E, Consultant shall advance the PS&E to a Final Design Level. Prior to
the start of this task, Consultants shall set up a meeting with the City Engineer or their designee
to discuss any last outstanding items or areas of concern that may have been identified during
the 95% submittal review. Consultant shall prepare a comments response matrix to the City
Engineer’s or their designee’s consolidated comments on the 95% plans and shall provide this
document as a backup with the 100% Design PS&E. The estimated budget for this task does not
allow for major redesign of the project, but rather minor adjustments based on comments from
the City Engineer or their designee.
The Final Design Package includes:
o Final Design Plans
o Final Opinion of Probable Cost (Construction Cost Estimate)
o Final Project Specifications
o Response to 95% Comments
Construction staging and traffic control plans will be prepared by the construction Contractor.
Task 10 – Technical Assistance During Construction Bidding
Consultant shall provide the City staff with assistance during the advertisement and bidding
periods for the project. This will include aiding the City staff in attending the pre-bid conference,
responding to questions received about the project design, and preparing addenda and/or
clarifications to the PS&E that are deemed necessary. Consultant shall respond to City staff
questions during bid preparation and answer questions from prospective contractors or the City
staff to clarify the plans and/or specifications. The total amount of effort budgeted for bidding
support is 10 hours.
Task 11 – Engineering Support During Construction
Consultant shall provide the Construction Phase Services listed below as applicable.
