REV: 12-03-25 LR o Draft Opinion of Probable Cost (Construction Cost Estimate) Task 8 – Develop 95% Plans, Specifications and Estimate Based upon one (1) set of consolidated, non-conflicting comments from the City Engineer or their designee on the 65% PS&E, Consultant shall advance the Plans, Specifications and Estimate to a 95% Design Level. Prior to the start of this task, Consultant shall set a virtual meeting with the City Engineer or their designee to discuss any last outstanding items or areas of concern that may have been identified during the 65% submittal review. Consultant shall prepare a comments response matrix to the City Engineer’s or their designee’s consolidated comments on the 65% plans and shall provide this document as a backup with the 95% Design Plans, Specifications and Estimate. City Engineer or their designee comments that lead to significant redesign and additional hours allocated to this task shall be coordinated and agreed upon between City Staff and the Consultant. The PS&E shall be at the minimum prepared in accordance with the latest City Engineering Standards, California MUTCD, and the most recent version of Caltrans Standard Plans. The 95% Design Package includes: 95% Design Plans o Cover Sheet and General Notes o Key Map (with ROW information) o Existing Conditions Plan o Demolition Plan o Improvement Plan o Grading and Drainage Plan o Detailed Grading Plans o Utility and Drainage Plan o Pavement Rehabilitation Plan o Signing and Striping Plan o Construction Details o Landscape Plans (if applicable) o Best Management Practices 95% Opinion of Probable Cost (Construction Cost Estimate) 95% Specifications Response to 65% Comments Profiles including Curb Radii or Roadway Centerlines will not be required and needed for this project; if they are requested by the City Engineer or their designee, additional fees may be ATTY/AGR.2025.333/Kimley-Horn (Bay Road Complete Streets) (Page 22 of 50)
