Amendments to the Master Project Agreement for the Veterans Memorial Building <br />(VMB)/Senior Center (SC) and Sequoia YMCA Project, and approval of an Architectural <br />Permit for the Phase 2 design for the YMCA Project, which includes a 36,353 square <br />foot health and wellness center, aquatic center, and childcare facility (304) Reso 16365 <br /> Reso 16366 <br /> Reso 16367 <br /> <br />City Manager Melissa Stevenson Diaz introduced the item, and Community Development <br />Director Jeff Schwob, Principal Planner Evelyn Garcia, and Assistant Parks, Recreation <br />and Community Services Director Lucas Wilder gave the staff presentation. <br /> <br />YMCA of Silicon Valley CEO Jim Hori and project architect Mousam Adcock gave a <br />presentation. <br /> <br />Mayor Martínez Saballos opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />There was no public comment. <br /> <br />Mayor Martínez Saballos closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />1. Adopt a resolution considering and approving an addendum to the Final <br />Environmental Impact Report (SCH # 2016112041) for the Veterans Memorial Senior <br />Center/YMCA Project in accordance with the requirements of the California <br />Environmental Quality Act; <br />2. Adopt a resolution approving and authorizing the execution of a Third Amendment to <br />the Master Project Agreement with the Young Men’s Christian Association of Silicon <br />Valley; and <br />3. Adopt a resolution approving the Architectural Permit NO. AP2025-060 for Phase 2 of <br />the Veterans Memorial Senior Center/YMCA Project, subject to conditions of approval. <br /> <br />CEQA: <br />Addendum to Existing Environmental Impact Report
