Award of contract to GradeTech Inc. for the Vera Avenue Bicycle Boulevard Project <br />(304) <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the standard form <br />contract documents and award the contract for the Vera Avenue Bicycle Boulevard <br />Project to Grade Tech, Inc. of Livermore, California for their responsive and responsible <br />low total bid of $1,637,970, and authorize the City Manager or the City Manager's <br />designee to increase the contract amount, if necessary, up to 10 percent of the amount <br />awarded, for a total amount not to exceed $1,801,767. <br /> <br />CEQA: <br />Categorically Exempt - Class 1. Existing Facilities <br /> <br /> 7.C. Purchase retractable and fixed bollards for the Broadway Pedestrian Mall Project (304) <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, find that, due to site specific constraints, there is only one reasonable and <br />practicable source for the retractable and static bollard system suitable for the Broadway <br />Pedestrian Mall Project and the contract may be awarded without a competitive bidding <br />process, and approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a purchase agreement <br />with Interllimar Inc., dba Concentric Security (Concentric), for four (4) retractable <br />bollards and six (6) fixed bollards in an amount not to exceed $439,300, and authorize <br />the City Manager or the City Manager's designee to increase the contract amount, if <br />necessary, up to 10 percent of the contract amount, in an amount not to exceed <br />$483,230 (requires 5/7 vote). <br /> <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br /> <br /> 7.D. Agreement for Services with LifeMoves to provide case management, street outreach, <br />rapid response, and services coordination for people living in encampments (304) <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a two-year Agreement <br />for Services with LifeMoves in the amount of $1,215,000 to provide case management, <br />street outreach, rapid response, and services coordination for people living in <br />encampments. <br /> <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br /> <br />
