REV: 02-24-26 LF <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />Program Objectives, Scope of Services & Quantitative Goals <br />Program Year 2025/2026 <br />Subrecipient Information <br />Subrecipient Name:Bay Area Legal Aid <br />Address: 1735 Telegraph Avenue <br />City, State, ZIP: Oakland, CA 94612 <br />Project Name: Domestic Violence Legal Safety Net Project <br />Program Objectives <br />Project will address Redwood City’s Consolidated Plan 2023-2027 priorities <br />and goals as follows: <br />Project will address Redwood City’s Consolidated Plan 2023-2027 priorities and <br />goals as follows: <br />Priority: Sustain or Expand Human Services - Sustain or expand the high level <br />of basic human needs services for extremely low-, very low-, low- and moderate- <br />income persons and households including but not limited to childcare, mental <br />health and substance abuse services. <br />Goal 5 - Basic Human Needs Services: Funds will be used to support services <br />and activities that address basic human needs. <br />Scope of Services <br />Description of Services to be Provided: <br />Bay Area Legal Aid’s Domestic Violence Legal Safety Net project provides free, <br />multi-lingual legal assistance to low-income survivors of domestic violence, <br />sexual assault, and trafficking, helping them to escape and recover from abuse, <br />and establish long-term safety and stability for themselves and their children. <br />Project Activities: <br />Twenty-one (21) survivors of interpersonal violence who reside in Redwood City <br />will receive free pro per assistance with preparing and filing applications for <br />temporary restraining orders. Through virtual and/or in-person clinics, trauma- <br />informed attorneys, advocates, or supervised pro bono legal professionals will <br />guide survivors through the application process and procedures; offer safety <br />planning; and provide a collection of resource materials with information about <br />local supports for IPV survivors. <br />ATTY/AGR.2026.046/Bay Area Legal Aid (Domestic Violence Legal Services) (Page 16 of 18)
