REV: 02-24-26 LF <br />Twenty-seven (27) survivors of interpersonal violence who reside in Redwood <br />City will receive free, in-depth legal assistance from attorneys, advocates, and/or <br />supervised pro bono professionals as clients of Bay Area Legal Aid. Clients will <br />benefit from situation-specific legal advice and counsel; brief services; and/or <br />extended representation. To promote clients’ safety, stability, and independence, <br />wrap-around services may support legal needs related to protective orders; family <br />law; immigration; consumer rights; and access to health care, affordable housing, <br />and safety-net programs. <br />Primary Quantitative Goals: <br />The Domestic Violence Legal Safety Net Project will serve 48 Redwood City <br />residents. <br />NOTE: Performance will be measured by program objectives and quantitative goals.
