City of Mountain View <br />Bid No. R251048 Page 55 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Overstock Returns <br />Overstock returns are unprocessed materials returned after the 60-day window. We credit <br />Overstock Returns at 50% off the list price, for standard discount books. Short-discount books <br />receive credit at 10% less than original invoice price: <br />x Overstock returns for libraries may not exceed 10% of purchases made during the <br />preceding 12 months. <br />x All products returned to Ingram must be in a marketable condition. <br />x Ingram reserves the right to send back, at the Library’s expense, all products returned <br />to Ingram in a condition in which they cannot be resold. <br />x To initiate an overstock return, customers can send the material(s) with the packing slip <br />to the Ingram Return Center. Customers pay return freight for overstock items. <br /> <br />Hard to Find Books Alibris Returns Policy <br />If dissatisfied for any reason with a book purchased through our Hard-to-Find Book program, you <br />may return your purchase to the Alibris distribution center within 30 days of purchase for a full <br />refund. Ingram reimburses shipping costs for returns when the book’s condition is not as <br />described on ipage. <br /> <br />Please email Ingram Customer Care at ilscustomerservice@ingramcontent.com to report a <br />return. If the return is due to non-Ingram error, send the material to the Alibris Distribution <br />Center, <br /> <br />Items Damaged in Transit or Shipped due to Ingram Error <br />We ask the Library to accept delivery of materials damaged in transit. <br /> <br />Library staff should note product impairment on the carrier delivery receipt and then email our <br />Customer Care Department at ilscustomerservice@ingramcontent.com for return instructions. <br />If possible, please take pictures of items received damaged. <br /> <br />We cannot reimburse for claims made 60 days after invoice date. <br /> <br />Defects - Books <br />Ingram understands that defects inside a book may not be detected until after circulation, so <br />there is no timeframe for returning product received with publisher defects.
