Page 3 of 4 <br />City of Redwood City 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA. 94063 Tel: 650-780-7000 www.redwoodcity.org <br />In 2019, the League of Oregon Cities (LOC), acting as the lead public agency for NPPGov, issued Requests <br />for Proposals (RFPs) for Firefighting Equipment, PPE, and Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA). <br />Public notices were issued via the Daily Journal of Commerce and USA Today. Each proposal was evaluated <br />per the RFP's criteria, and awards were made to L.N. Curtis & Sons as summarized below: <br />RFP Issue Date Proposals <br />Received <br />Award Exp. Curtis & Sons without initiating a separate competitive bidding process, ensuring continuity of <br />service, price competitiveness, and operational consistency. <br />EQUITY IMPACT STATEMENT <br />All City actions are assessed for impact. Because this item is on the consent calendar, this section indicates <br />assessment process, not findings. The anticipated impact of this policy, program, or action has been <br />assessed in the following ways: <br />ď‚·Relevant data not currently available <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The Amended FY 2025-26 budget includes appropriations for anticipated purchases under this agreement. <br />Any future purchases exceeding the Fire Department's budget allocation would be brought forward <br />through a budget amendment for Council approval. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />This activity is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as defined in CEQA <br />Guidelines, section 15378, because it has no potential for resulting in either a direct or reasonably <br />foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment. <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Public notification was achieved by posting the agenda, with the agenda items being listed, at least 72 <br />hours prior to the meeting. <br />7.E. - Page 3 of 291 <br />125
