REV: 2-24-26 LR <br />Optional Task: Parking Access and Revenue Control System (PARCS) Equipment <br />The City is planning to implement and activate PARCs equipment. If the City activates <br />PARCS system, the City may request Consultant to provide a proposed scope of services <br />and associated budget. Authorization for this additional work would require an executed <br />amendment for scope and budget to be approved by the City Manager and Consultant. <br />Deposits of Cash Receipts <br />Any and all monies charged or collected by Consultant for parking fees, except refundable <br />deposits collected by Consultant, shall be deposited by Consultant directly into a bank <br />account (hereinafter “Account”) controlled by Consultant. Deposits will be made into the <br />Account by Consultant the next business day following each day's activities, before 3:00 <br />P.M., except for Saturdays, Sundays, and City Holidays, for which deposit shall be made <br />before 3:00 P.M. on the next business day. All bank deposit slips shall be made out in at <br />least two copies and retained at the facility office for a period of two years. At the City <br />Engineer or their designee's request, one copy of any bank deposit slip shall be forwarded <br />for same day delivery by email to the attention of the City Engineer or their designee. <br />Failure to prepare the required bank deposit and place said deposit into the Account , or <br />providing deposit slips to the City as requested on a daily basis shall constitute a material <br />breach, for which the City shall be entitled, after written notice to Consultant with three (3) <br />business days to cure, to immediately terminate all of Consultant's rights hereunder. <br />Garage Permit Parking <br />The City shall administer all aspects of the City’s Garage Permit Parking system. <br />Consultant shall cooperate with City with respect to City's Garage Permit Parking system. <br />This will include updating permit credential when the City Hall system terminal is down, <br />and providing reporting requested by the City Engineer or their designee. Consultant shall <br />assist permit parking customers with accessing the Garages and any issues they may <br />have with their permits. <br />Short-Term Parking <br />Short-term parking is all parking, other than on a permit basis. Consultant shall work with <br />the City Engineer or their designee to comply with the Short-Term parking process <br />established for operating the Garages. Consultant shall comply with the below for short- <br />term parking services: <br />Provide customer service as needed for all customers using the Pay on Foot <br />System (hereinafter “POF”) to be used in the operation of the Garages. <br />Consultant shall remind, educate and assist customers with the processes to pay <br />and leave the Garages. <br />When a customer arrives to the Garages, the Consultant shall assist them as <br />needed in the use of the POF prior to the customer's removal of their vehicle. <br />Any and all monies charged or collected by Consultant for short-term parking shall <br />be deposited by Consultant into the Account in the manner established pursuant <br />ATTY/AGR.2026.049/ACE Parking Inc.
