NO. 3/CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND SAN CARLOS FIRE & EMERGENCY SERVICES <br />REV: 06-20-24 VR <br />Page 16 of 28 <br />EXHIBIT “B” <br /> <br />REDWOOD CITY SERVICES <br /> <br />Redwood City will maintain firefighting personnel sufficient to deliver emergency <br />and non- emergency services to be provided within the jurisdictional limits of the City of <br />San Carlos. <br /> <br />Redwood City will provide San Carlos a full array of fire, emergency medical, and <br />other emergency and non-emergency services. Such services will include the following, <br />and as more specifically described below: <br /> <br />• Fire suppression <br /> <br />• Incident command <br /> <br />• Fire administration and support <br /> <br />• Emergency Medical Advanced Life Support (ALS) non-transport <br />response <br /> <br />• Vehicle and technical rescue <br /> <br />• Training and personnel development <br /> <br />• Emergency management <br /> <br />• Assistance with and management of code enforcement, plans <br />review, inspections, fire scene investigation, and public education <br /> <br />By mutual agreement of the City Managers of the Participating Agencies, Redwood <br />City may provide the services contemplated by this Agreement directly or through the use <br />of third- party contractors. <br /> <br />A. Fire Administration Services <br /> <br />Services will include a full array of emergency operations and routine fire <br />service, administrative and support activities, including budget administration, <br />records management, incident reporting, quarterly data analysis of emergency <br />and non-emergency activities, cost accounting, and other services necessary to <br />administer a full-service emergency service system. A Command Staff member <br />will be available to attend San Carlos City Council meetings as necessary. <br />Redwood City Fire Department personnel will be available to represent the City’s <br />interests at other meetings as necessary. <br /> <br /> <br />Docusign Envelope ID: E05468C4-A699-4430-A510-E42D7232B74D
