REV: 03-02-26 VR <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />OVERVIEW <br />Consultant shall provide garage repair and vertical transportation services to the City in <br />two (2) parts. Part A—Elevator Modernization Consulting Services will consist of providing <br />vertical transportation consulting and modernization services for four (4) elevators located <br />at the City’s 750 Marshall Street and 850 Jefferson Avenue garages. Part B—Garage <br />Repair Engineering Services will consist of providing engineering, design, bidding, and <br />construction-phase support for concrete and waterproofing repairs at the same garages. <br />The consultant has estimated the number of hours needed by their staff to complete the <br />tasks of Part A and Part B. Table 2 below shows the estimated hours needed to complete <br />each task and the hourly rate at which each staff classification will be invoiced while <br />working on the project. <br />The cost for Part A (Elevator Modernization) is a not-to-exceed amount of Thirty-Nine <br />Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($39,750.00). The cost for Part B (Garage Repair) <br />is a not-to-exceed amount of Fifty-Eight Thousand Eight Hundred Forty Dollars <br />($58,840.00). The total not-to-exceed amount for all services under this Agreement <br />is Ninety-Eight Thousand Five Hundred Ninety Dollars ($98,590.00). <br />Key personnel assigned to the work shall include: <br />For Part A (Elevator Modernization): <br />o Gary LeGrand; Sr. Vertical Transportation Consultant; Part A Lead <br />For Part B (Garage Repairs): <br />o Behnam Arya, PhD, PE; Principal/Project Manager; Part B Lead and main <br />project contact <br />o Ray Charbonneau; Consultant (Reviewer) <br />o Amin Najvani, PhD, PE; Project Engineer <br />o Ankita Lad, EIT; Project Engineer <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES FOR PART A — ELEVATOR MODERNIZATION <br />Consultant shall provide elevator modernization services for four (4) elevators. Two (2) <br />elevators are located at the City’s 750 Marshall Street Garage location, and two (2) <br />elevators are located at the City’s 850 Jefferson Avenue Garage location. Consultant will <br />first conduct a field assessment of the elevators and provide a written report of <br />recommended actions to the City Engineer or their designated representative. Consultant <br />will then incorporate feedback from City staff, generate construction documents, and <br />provide bid assistance and construction phase support for elevator modernization <br />activities.
