REV: 03-31-26 LF <br />Functions, fuses, interface equipment, lamps/LED's, primary (main) power supply, <br />audible and visual, disconnect switches, ground fault monitoring, transmission of <br />signals to off-premises location, digital alarm communicator transmitter, <br />electromechanical releasing devices, fire extinguishing systems or suppression <br />system switches (water flow, tampers) fire-gas and other detectors, heat detectors, <br />manual fire alarm boxes (pull stations) smoke detectors, duct smoke detectors, <br />projected beam type, carbon monoxide detectors, supervisory initiating devices, <br />control valve switch, air pressure switch, room temperature switch, water level <br />switch, water temperature switch, elevator recall, elevator shunt trip, HV AC, AHU <br />or exhaust fan shutdown, door hold-open releasing devices, door unlocking, <br />fire/smoke dampers, and any other devices that may be connected to the fire alarm <br />panel. <br />Perform a charge and discharge test on the batteries to ensure they are operating <br />properly. If replacement is needed, the Contractor shall submit a separate scope <br />of work and cost estimate as detailed in the below section “Extra Work.” <br />Familiarize City's designated personnel with the basic and proper operation of the <br />fire alarm panels. <br />Ensure there are no changes that affect equipment performance. Contractor shall <br />inspect for building modifications, occupancy changes, changes in environmental <br />conditions, device locations, physical obstructions, device orientation, physical <br />damage and degree of cleanliness. <br />Monitoring and Service Calls Response Procedures <br />Contractor’s 24-hour monitoring center shall monitor and immediately respond to fire and <br />intrusion alarms and notify the Public Works Facility Maintenance Supervisor upon alarm <br />activation. If the Public Works Facility Maintenance Supervisor is unreachable, the <br />monitoring center shall request emergency service response. <br />For service calls, Contractor personnel shall respond to call outs within 30 minutes in <br />non-emergency situations. <br />ATTY/AGR.2026.090/Norcal Alarm, Inc.
