Because this item is on the consent calendar, this section indicates <br />assessment process, not findings. The anticipated impact of this policy, program, or action has been <br />assessed in the following ways: <br />Relevant data not currently available <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Funding for the full purchase of both engines is available in the Equipment Replacement Fund. Holding <br />the funds in the Equipment Replacement Fund until payment is due will allow the City to accrue interest <br />on the monies held during the approximate two-year build process. The final purchase amount will <br />subsequently be recovered from the user department's operating budget through vehicle replacement <br />charges in future years. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />This activity is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as defined in CEQA <br />Guidelines, section 15378, because it has no potential for resulting in either a direct or reasonably <br />foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment. <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Public notification was achieved by posting the agenda, with the agenda items being listed, at least 72 <br />hours prior to the meeting. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />The City Council may elect not to accept the recommended action and direct staff to issue a Notice Inviting <br />Bids. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />Attachment A – Purchase Agreement <br />7.E. - Page 4 of 38 <br />175
