Replacement of these <br />items will be handled on a case-by-case basis dependent on operational and departmental needs. <br />These unexpected needs-based acquisitions will be in accordance with department policy and AB 481. <br />Consumable Military Equipment <br />Consumable military equipment acquisitions in the next 12 months will remain consistent with current <br />department replenishment schedules and policies. Acquisitions and purchasing of these consumables <br />will replenish quantities previously approved by the Department. Categories of consumables are as <br />follows: <br />•Ammunition - all calibers <br />•Diversionary Devices <br />•Chemical Agents <br />•Specialty Munitions (40mm and Less Lethal Munitions) <br />•Pepperball Rounds <br />Projected costs associated with consumables are listed in the chart in the “Equipment Costs” section <br />of this report. <br />9.A. - Page 31 of 197 <br />388
