Request for authorization to seek Proposition 64 – <br /> Public Health and Safety Grant funding for the grant <br /> term of July 1, 2025 to December 31, 2031 <br />Recommendation: <br />Retroactively approve the City's application for the <br />Proposition 64 Public Health and Safety Grant awarded by <br />the Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) to the <br />Redwood City Police Department in the amount of up to <br />$4,500,000 for the grant term of July 1, 2026 to December <br />31, 2031 and authorize the City Manager or designee to <br />execute all documents necessary to accept and administer <br />the grant if awarded .
