PAYMENTS <br /> <br />Payment will be made promptly following delivery, inspection, acceptance of goods by the city <br />and receipt of invoice. All vehicles shall be invoiced separately upon delivery and acceptance <br />by the City. <br /> <br />21. BIDDERS STATEMENT <br /> <br />If awarded the contract, the undersigned hereby agrees to supply the vehicle(s) and equipment <br />according to specifications within the time period stated on page 12 (“maximum number of days <br />until delivery to Redwood City”) commencing upon receipt of the purchase order by the Successful <br />Bidder. <br /> <br />If the unit price and the total amount named by a Bidder for any item do not agree, it will be <br />assumed that the error was made in computing the total amount and the unit price alone will be <br />considered as representing the Bidder's intention. <br /> <br />The undersigned has checked carefully all the figures listed in the Bid Proposal Form and <br />understands that the city will not be responsible for any errors or omissions on the part of the <br />undersigned in making up this bid. <br /> <br />The undersigned hereby certifies that this bid is genuine, not collusive, or made in the interest or <br />on behalf of any person not named herein, and that the undersigned has not directly or indirectly <br />induced or solicited any other Bidder to put in a sham bid, or any other person, firm or corporation <br />to refrain from bidding, and that the undersigned has not in any manner sought by collusion to <br />secure an advantage of any kind whatsoever. <br /> <br />The undersigned acknowledges he or she is responsible for all costs incurred in the development <br />and submission of their bid, the city assumes no contractual obligation as a result of this Notice <br />Inviting Sealed Bids, the City shall not be contractually bound until the city issues a Purchase <br />Order to the Successful Bidder. <br />The undersigned acknowledges that the City does not pay for goods or services before the city <br />receives them and that the Submitted Bid should not propose contract terms that require upfront <br />payment or deposits. <br /> <br />The undersigned agrees that this bid may not be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after the bid <br />submission due date. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ATTACHMENT A7.E. - Page 13 of 19 <br />115
