Approval of a Purchase Agreement with Metro Mobile Communications for the <br />replacement of Redwood City Police Department portable and mobile radios utilizing <br />the NASPO ValuePoint Cooperative Purchasing Agreement, in an amount not to exceed <br />$625,000 <br /> (304) <br />Recommendation: <br />Approve a Purchase Agreement with Metro Mobile Communications for the <br />replacement of the Redwood City Police Department’s portable and mobile radio fleet <br />utilizing the National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO) ValuePoint <br />Cooperative Purchasing Agreement, in an amount not to exceed $625,000. <br /> <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br /> <br /> 7.G. Agreement for Services with Golden State Emergency Vehicle Service, Inc. for <br />emergency vehicle repair services <br /> (304) <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, determine that due to the nature of the support services, competitive bidding <br />is not likely to serve the best interests of the City or to result in the lowest price, and <br />approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a five-year Agreement for Services <br />with Golden State Emergency Vehicle Service, Inc. for emergency vehicle repair services <br />in an amount not to exceed $250,000 through 2031 (requires 5 affirmative votes). <br /> <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br /> <br /> 7.H. Agreement for Services with Solitude Lake Management, LLC for lagoon management <br />and environmental consulting services <br /> (304) <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a two-year Agreement <br />for Services with Solitude Lake Management, LLC for lagoon management and <br />environmental consulting services in an amount not to exceed $290,000, including City <br />Manager authority to extend the agreement for three additional one-year terms in an <br />amount not to exceed $145,000 per extension, for a total contract amount not to exceed <br />$725,000. <br /> <br />CEQA: <br />Categorically Exempt - Class 1.
