Program Year 2026 Annual Action Plan for the federal Community Development <br />Block Grant (CDBG) Program (404) Reso 16405 <br /> <br />Housing Leadership Manager Alin Lancaster gave an introduction, and Housing <br />and Economic Development Specialist Madiha Haque gave the presentation. <br /> <br />Mayor Martínez Saballos opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />The following members of the public provided comments: <br />• Juan Molina <br />• Melanie Favre <br />• Cade Cannedy <br /> <br />Mayor Martínez Saballos closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />1. Adopt a resolution approving the Program Year 2026 Annual Action Plan for <br />Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds; certifying that the City has <br />followed its adopted Community Participation Plan; and authorizing City Manager <br />to submit an application for CDBG funds and execution and filing of all documents <br />pertaining thereto; and <br />2. By motion, authorize the City Manager to execute funding agreements with the <br />organizations identified in the Program Year 2026 Annual Action Plan. <br /> <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br /> <br />Motion and second, Martínez Saballos and Gee to: <br />1. Adopt a resolution approving the Program Year 2026 Annual Action Plan for <br />Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds; certifying that the City has <br />followed its adopted Community Participation Plan; and authorizing City <br />Manager to submit an application for CDBG funds and execution and filing of all <br />documents pertaining thereto; and <br />2.
