STAFF REPORTS <br /> <br /> 9.A. Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for new affordable housing construction <br />– funding recommendations (400) Reso 16406 <br /> <br />Housing Leadership Manager introduced the item, and Housing Management <br />Analyst Leigh Macalino gave the presentation. <br /> <br />The following members of the public provided comments: <br />• Kai Stockwell <br />• Mollie Naber <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />1. Adopt a resolution conditionally awarding $12,326,460 in the form of a permanent <br />loan(s) to Rise City Apartments; <br />2. Conditionally awarding $5,000,000 in the form of a $500,000 predevelopment and a <br />$4,500,000 permanent loan to the 1580 Maple Street Project; and <br />3. Authorize the City Manager to execute loan documents and other necessary <br />documents, any subsequent amendments or modifications and take actions necessary <br />to effectuate the loans for the projects. <br /> <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br /> <br />Motion and second, Martínez Saballos and Eakin to: <br />1. Adopt a resolution conditionally awarding $12,326,460 in the form of a permanent <br />loan(s) to Rise City Apartments; <br />2. Conditionally awarding $5,000,000 in the form of a $500,000 predevelopment and a <br />$4,500,000 permanent loan to the 1580 Maple Street Project; and <br />3. Authorize the City Manager to execute loan documents and other necessary <br />documents, any subsequent amendments or modifications and take actions necessary <br />to effectuate the loans for the projects. <br />The motion passed unanimously by electronic vote. <br /> <br />9.B.
