Receive and provide feedback regarding the FY 2026-27 Recommended <br />Budget; and <br />2. Adopt a resolution setting June 22, 2026 as the date for the public hearing <br />on and adoption of the Fiscal Year 2026-27 Budget, directing copies of the <br />Fiscal Year 2026-27 Recommended Budget to be filed with the City Clerk, and <br />authorizing and directing the City Clerk to publish notice of the availability of <br />the Fiscal Year 2026-27 Recommended Budget and the date of the public <br />hearing. <br />The motion passed 6-0-1 by electronic vote, with Council Member Chu absent. <br /> <br /> <br />11. Waive second reading and adopt an ordinance amending Redwood City <br />Municipal Code Chapter 15 (Smoking Regulations) related to Tobacco Retail <br />Permits (301) <br />Ord. 2561 <br /> <br />Economic Development Manager Amanda Anthony gave a presentation. <br /> <br />At 10:59 p.m., motion and second, Gee and Howard, to extend the meeting <br />to 11:30 p.m., passed 6-0-1 by electronic vote with Council Member Chu <br />absent. <br /> <br />Mayor Martínez Saballos opened the public hearing.
