Because this item is on the consent calendar, this section indicates <br />assessment process, not findings. The anticipated impact of this action has been assessed in the following <br />ways: <br />Conducted community engagement with the population most affected by this action <br />Reviewed from similar or relevant past program or policy in Redwood City <br />Reviewed data related to a standard or emerging best practice <br />Data reviewed was disaggregated by a specific demographic <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Development of this resolution and report and recognition of cultural events and awareness days are all <br />activities funded by the General Fund, accommodated within existing budget allocations. No additional <br />funding is required. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />This activity is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as defined in CEQA <br />Guidelines, section 15378, because it has no potential for resulting in either a direct or reasonably <br />foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment. <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Public notification was achieved by posting the agenda, with the agenda items being listed, at least 72 <br />hours prior to the meeting. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />The City Council could choose not to authorize display of the Disability Pride flag at Redwood City facilities, <br />or choose to limit the display to this year only. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />Attachment A – Resolution of the City Council of the City of Redwood City authorizing the display of the <br />Disability Pride Flag in Recognition of Disability Pride Month <br />Attachment B – Proclamation of the City Council of the City of Redwood City proclaiming the month of <br />July to be Disability Pride Month <br />7.A. - Page 3 of 7 <br />6
