A small portion of the expansion area is adjacent to <br />Hoover Park. The area covers 57 acres. <br />Currently, there is a diverse mix of uses and businesses located within the expansion area, as listed in <br />Table 1. Based on current business license data and a field visit conducted by City staff on March 24, 2026, <br />parcel occupancy within the area is nearly 90% (as a comparison, the citywide occupancy for office and <br />research and development is currently around 69%).
