PWS conducted a procurement process for these as-needed services, and staff recommends <br />approval and authorization for the City Manager to execute the contract documents and award the <br />standard form contract for the On-Call Concrete or Asphalt Repair and Replacement Project to Bay Area <br />Paving Co. in an amount not to exceed $800,000. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the contract documents and award the <br />standard form contract for the On-Call Concrete or Asphalt Repair and Replacement Project to Bay Area <br />Paving Co. through 2027 in an amount not to exceed $800,000. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN GUIDING PRINCIPLE <br />Excellence in Government Operations <br />BACKGROUND <br />The City of Redwood City (City) routinely enters into construction agreements with contractors to perform <br />Public Works Projects.
